The one you might have saved.

Every since reading Arbogast's post on the one he wishes he could have saved I've been thinking about it a whole lot. I don't often feel the need to pluck characters from evil clutches as I'm not very fond of most people, let alone fictional ones created for the sole purpose of meeting grizzly ends. So humans aside there is one creature who has always held a place in my heart. Yes it's that giant furball with a love for the ladies.




King Kong, my gorilla romeo. I don't know why I love him so. In fact I have not seen the Peter Jackson's version because after viewing his tragic tale in both the 1933 and 1976 films I just couldn't take it anymore. I just couldn't watch my love brought down yet again. In my version Ann and Kong run away together and folic on their secluded isle away from the clutches of man.
I'm putting it all down to my thing for the strong silent type.

On a side note: I know I've been away for awhile but we were dealing with a sudden bush fire by my house. Nothing too serious but enough to upset my dog. I'm still trying to get pictures of the aftermath to post. Because fire is way scary.
