I’ll be returning to this blog shortly with my first real post being an account of the Midwinter's Sviata Vechera I will be preparing and hosting tomorrow night as invited to do so by one Ms.Graveyard Dirt.
The menu will consist of all Hungarian dishes prepared by my very own two hands. I am of course going to outsource dessert because I am just one person.
The Menu
pickled veggies and salami
mushroom soup with teifeles zsemlye (sour cream rolls)
uborkaslata (cucumber salad)
Goulash
For dessert double chocolate stout cake with irish cream frosting from the local Pure Bliss Desserts
Sadly I've been unable to locate any Hungarian wines locally but I'm sure we will figure something out.
A few friends will be joining us I'll let you know how it goes.
